Thanks to Doug Fitz-Randolph for pointing out the .pdf file on the Tire Rack website. However, I think the data presents us with far more opportunities than were noted by Doug. There might be some reasons I am wrong, but . . . . 98 and later Passat wheels with the 5x112 bolt pattern and an offset of 45 are deemed to be acceptable. So it would seem that anything with an offset of 45 or less would work just fine. The Tire Rack file lists many wheels that have this bolt pattern and an offset of 45 or less. Some of these are from older cars that might be found in junkyards. There are quite a number of Audi wheels, with the 15x6 ranging from about $27 - $40. There are even several Audi 16x6 wheels with 40 and 45 offset with prices ranging from $27-$40. These are on page 1. The next wheels with the right bolt pattern are on p. 5. Among these Mercedes wheels are 15x6.5 (37 offset)($31.35) and 16x7.5 (41 offset)($39.90). This was a great piece of information for many of us to discover. Thanks again, Doug.
