This is what we Canadians use as air conditioning. By
spraying a water/alcohol mixture on the windshield, this
creates a secondary cooling effect due to evaporation.
Since you are going forwards, you are driving into the
coolness. Even dispersion of the fluid is important - thus
the question. If your coolant mixture isn't hitting the
windshield, you are cooling down the guy behind you instead.
On *very, very* hot days (say +10*C or 50*F) Canadians are
known to actually soak their heads with the sprayers, then
crank up the heater full blast on defrost and cool that
way. You can't use the fresh air vents in the dash, or your
head will cool too quickly, and cause an extreme case of
"slurpee head".
Happy Friday.
