Did it about 5 years ago. Works just fine. I use 2. One for the primary battery circuit and one for the auxiliary. When on long trips or periods of long Westfalia inactivity, I plug her in and all is fine. On long cross-country trips when doing distance, we sometimes stop in campgrounds with power, so a little topping off never hurts. Also located both in the area under the sink and next to the fridge.
