I need a new windshield popped into my '86 Syncro. The quotes I have received range from $125 (using the old rubber) to $380. I also heard a horror story from a fellow Vanagon addict about a local shop redoing their work 6 times before his Jetta windshield was without leaks. Does anyone know of any pitfalls to avoid when replacing a Vanagon windshield which seems to be a rather straight forward job? Rich |
