Subject: Re: Windshield washer pump replacement?

Hi Karl The bottle is held in place with 3 (maybe 4) bolts. Undo those and the whole assembly lowers (drops) into your hands. The pump is mounted on the side of the tank and is held in place by friction and sealed to the tank with a rubber ring. There is enough hose line and electrical line that you can lower the tank and disconnect them. The pump is replaced simply bu sliding it out of the plastic slot. Installation is (as they say) the reverse but be careful on reinstalling that the hose doesn't get pinched. -Larry P.S. drain the tank before starting the job :-)
