I think you'd need to put the spray heads out on stalks to get much improvement. How about one of the adapters that puts about four little nozzles along the length of the wiper blade? I used one on my Saab (or something) long ago and it was a bit cheezy but worked fine. It had little aluminum tabs that secured it to the wiper blade.
