Bill,
All requests were sent to the VW Museum via Deutsche Post in late August
1999 (as I was in Heidelberg at that time). Initially the museum was able
to handle only about 20 requests when I visited them in June 1999. I was
instructed to send the rest in later in the summer. I sent in the remaining
45 or so via Deutsche Post as well as a money order to cover the expenses.
I don't know what has happened, or if the delay is related to the fact that
the Museum has been split into two as a result of the Autostadt project. I
am sorry if you didn't receive your certificate.
