We have been showering a lot in the desert here and so far we have 'evolved' to a "Solar Shower" bag (that we have to put hot water into), hang it off the rear of the van's pop top (so as not to make a mess in front of the sliding door). We take turns operating the shower for the other (to conserve water).

For more privacy, we may get nylon cloth to hang from the rear hatch to make a shower stall, utilizing the rear screen snaps into the design (to keep water out of the rear of the van).

So far, the black "Solar Shower" bag has been a disappointment, we'll keep using it, but it does not warm up much, especially if we wait till the sun goes down to shower.

I think my next "mod" will be to get a second Westy submergible pump, run some electrical wires to the rear of the van and put in a toggle type switch. That way I can just drop the submergible pump into any 'gerry" can and pump water for a shower. Simple. Malcolm
