-------------------------- reply -------------------- It's a simple voltmeter. I use, and everybody else also, the National Semiconductor (or equivalent) LM 3914 "Bar Dot Display Driver". Widely available at your local parts store (not radio shack) or DigiKey etc.

You can buy a "ready made" LED array with different colors. While driving you can just glance at it with the corner of your eye and can get an idea of what your mixture is. Also good because it is visible at night. Lots of the "Tuning" shops make these things, some sell for as low as $25 last time I looked a couple of years ago. You can build one for less than $10. I may be able to dig up the schematic if anybody needs it.
