Now, not saying I'm an expert (which I'm far from), it does sound like the fuel is getting past the rings. Either way, whether it's a leaky injector or not, fuel should not be passing into the crankcase which would indicate a bad ring problem. IF you had excess fuel dump into the combustion chamber, what doesn't burn on the power stroke would exit on the exhaust stroke. So, if you had an injector pump more fuel than what is needed it shouldn't go into the crankcase. It would just pass out the exhaust and you would see it in performance, idle, and at the gas pump ($$) because you would be there more times than you should. :) Hopefully, my mindless chitter chatter helped a bit. Bottom line, I think you have a ring problem.
