Subject: Re: Favorite Modifications Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

At 50 PSI the higher fuel pressure passing through the injector orifice atomizes into smaller droplet sizes. Having a smaller droplet means that more droplets are present, and the combined total surface area of fuel is greater. It's held that combustion is more efficient as more fuel surface area is exposed.

I feel the van is smoother and more responsive at off idle acceleration. The van also has more pulling strength in the 3200 RPM range. I say this because My vacuum gauge before the conversion would indicate a couple of inches lower when climbing the hill near our home, to maintain highway speed.

Sincerely,

Mark Keller 91 Carat
