It contains ALL the parts for the shifter ball repair...everything from the bottom of the shifter to below the boot...spring,ball halves,clips,bushing, nut,bolt,etc...usually the kits contain more than is truly needed...all you really need are the ball halves & socket if I remember correctly..(I am sure someone will correct me if I am mistookened)...compare dlr prices to see if the kit is worth it...or if just the plastic parts are a lot cheaper..Daryl
