My husband and I are going to embark on a trip from Racine, WI to Sanford, FL beginning in March. We had some body work done in the fall and it has been too cold to do any camping. HECK we have not got it all back together yet after the bodywork. NO garage!!

Only 16-17 days there and back to visit our daughter. NOW, we like to avoid the freeways. Like the sightseeing way and small towns. Are there any places to avoid, AND more importantly any places to definitely consider seeing/staying.

Also, campgrounds along the route. We are taking a copy of recommended repair places, if needed. Anyone willing to give us other info too. Have followed others as they made their trips. You, the members seem so helpful to others that love the Vanagons too. In advance, thanks for the help.

Mercedes & Tom
