Because someone replaced the AH bolts the last time the tranny was pulled,
but didn't feel the need to get into the outside CVs.

If they don't have a good thick coating of grease, nuts and bolts would fall
off and hit the windshield of the guy behind you.  It's a question of
liability. ;-)
