Mine works a lot better aboard Scamp at five knots than it does on the
Westy at fifty knots...but "nicely warm" is about what I generally see.  I
remember one time it was too hot to stand under after a very sunny hot
afternoon.  And of course it works very poorly if the clear side is
down.  It doesn't keep heat any better than you'd expect of something
completely uninsulated.
