When I first got my '84 westy it was in the 18, I think even 19 once. Mostly though it gets a lousy 17 too. It recently was getting 15mpg. "Yikes", I thought something was wrong with it, .....er....something NEW was wrong with it. I discovered the tires a few days back were low. Hopefully that will fix it.

I couple days back someone had a thread on a variable fuel pressure system resulting in 22 mpg or so. WHOEVER Knows about that, let me know, let us all know!! The main reason why I contemplate a Tiico conversion is gas mileage. Brian Cochran WA
