Which ones? The autodip mirror comes from J C Whitney, the big auto-supply outfit in USA. I haven't bought one yet; another listmember has one.

The electric door mirrors I bought from LN106 & LN130 Hilux Surf SSR (exported as 4Runner). As far as I know these are Japanese-market-only mirrors. Certainly the US, Australian & NZ-market cars didn't get them, but there are plenty of used-imports from Japan here. They are considerable larger than the export mirrors, with bulbous chromed bodies and actually don't look garish... and NO mirror is uglier than a stock T3 one! They mount to a window-corner zinc-alloy cup in the Hilux. I have made-up balsa adaptors to fit them to the VW door mounts, and had these cast in aluminum. These blanks are very rough, and came out slightly shrunken (hope there's going to be enough meat in the cup walls...might have to get them built-up by MIG first). Once I have the van back I can smooth the mounting faces and have the cups machined out to fit the mirror attachments, and drill the stem for the wiring myself. Might even do the machining myself. Then I will finish the surfaces with bog (I can mix filler myself and dye it black so scratches won't show) and paint satin-black.
