I have a 1.9l with low oil pressure. Is it mostly due to the con rod bearings, or is it also main bearing wear? Would rebuilding the rods alone be worth doing, especially since main bearings are hard to find? Can this be done without splitting the case, or must you still do that? I would hate to tear it down that far and not do the main bearings. If you only do the rod bearings, how can you tell if the crank is still OK? Do the cranks not wear very much?
