Location: The hinge point of the tire carrier. The rod slides through a sleeve Action: Locate small clips in the ends of the rods at the point they pass through the sleeve on the crossmember. Take those clips off and slide the bars out. Then you can take the bars loose from the front bumper by turning them various directions until they slide out. Cheers, Dave C.
