Mark, List.

We don't think it's the Hall sensor. We do have spark, in the right order. I do have an alternate dist. from a '90 w/auto but haven't tried that because it is sparking.

Oh, new plugs went in 'cause the others looked kinda dark.

**** SNIP FROM ORIGINAL **** **** SNIP FROM ORIGINAL **** Per Mark Drillock Carl, it may well be the hall device in the distributor. Swap the distributor from the 90, it should work no problem. First make absolutely sure that the Syncro's spark plug wires are in the correct order as they may have been messed up during earlier trouble shooting. Pull the cap off and the rotor should point to the tiny notch on the rim of the distributor when the engine is at TDC.

**** SNIP FROM ORIGINAL **** * She's turning over. * Bill says he smells fuel, thought it was getting too much so put a regulator on. * No obvious leaks in the hoses. They were all replaced by the dealer about 6 months before I shut her down. Also got injectors at the time, I think due to a recall? * System does hold pressure. * We swapped in an alternate brain and an alternate AFM. * She still will not fire. Well, Bill says she hit maybe 5-6 times but doesn't stay running. History: She sat for 3 years in the garage. All the fuel leaked out thru the corrosion on the pump and filter. I had it runnning briefly (around the block twice, different times), but not on all 4. I went to back out at 3am and she died in the driveway. We haven't been able to get her to fire since.

Any ideas, anything obvious we are missing?? * Injectors? * needs new plugs? Dist. Cap? * deteriorated plug wires? * Any one know if the distributor from a '90 with Auto is the same?? I have a spare. I'm starting to get a little nervous here.
