The pressure switch which is so well hidden under all that nasty engine tin has a setpoint of 0.3 bar. Not only does the Bentley show this as such, but it has proven to be the case with the several I have replaced. The dymanic oil pressure switch mounted near the base of the oil cooler, is noted as a 0.9 bar type in the Bentley and the one I removed is rated at 0.9 bar. My question is: Has the 0.9 bar oil pressure switch been superceded by one rated at1.8 bar for some good reason? Rich |
