hey all, okay new h20 pump (thanks bus depot) new 80 degree C thermostat (thanks vw)and heres whats new: temperature seems a bit higher than previously. this is in NY where it is about 20 to 25 degrees F outside. what i mean by higher is, the needle on led lays about one needle width above the light. on my old thermostat, before it went bad, the needle sat touching the led, but just right above the light. now with my heater on full, the needle is sitting higher and the radiator fan has come on in two separate occaisons from moderate city driving. i have not bled cooling system yet, could this be why it is running hotter? people have said that there is differences in tstats, but this much difference? am i paranoid or does this seem high to anyone other than me? thanks jason _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com |
