Those transistor theory threads are out in space for me.

After reading countless books on type 1's and building somewhere around 10 type 1 engines, each a step up in performance, these type of threads are the best.

I am pondering the next engine to work on, I want a change from type 1's.

If the next engine is the WBX, it will be fully balanced as a rotating unit ( counter-weighted crank, pulley, flywheel and pressure plate ). Maybe it's overkill for only 4500rpm but those parts are still moving extremely fast . It's an excellent thing to do and not that expensive.

Whether it is the cure for the rod problem, I'm stayin outta that one...... : )
