I found the A/C in my '85 Westy to be acceptable but not exceptional. On a particularly hot (for Pa.) day, i.e. 90 degrees and humid, the interior would nearly reach room-temperature in about 15 minutes or so. Not particularly good for short trips but very useful for long ones. Remember, there's a lot of interior space to cool. The A/C on my present '89 Westy is slightly better (thanks to a larger compressor and rear ducts that are moved slightly forward). - Ron Salmon The Bus Depot, Inc. www.busdepot.com (215) 234-VWVW |
