Thanks for the many responses. I am not naive. I had no intention of opening such a file. I just didn't know if it had any other ramifications related to the email. It seemed that the list is well versed with this particular email. That is why I inquired about it.

On another note. I know a lot of you know alot more than I about the internet. Why doesn't someone find out who the individual is and email bomb them and clog their server and cause some trouble?
