Yes, Vanagon/Thing owners ARE wacko. Plus if the only VWs you own are one of each then you're wacko times 10. I say this with pride. I have one of each and love them both. The best part about getting a thing is it is easy to tow behind the Vanagon for camping. You get a great place to sleep and a really fun car to cruise around in. Just remember to put the top up before going to bed!
