Two answers. First, think *hard* before you get into a pissing match with a skunk. Second, there is no individual. The nature of these things is that they are spread by well-meaning people, naive or otherwise, who intentionally or accidentally or under force of circumstances open a hostile attachment. At that point they become a locus of infection and help spread the disease until they are themselves cured.
