Subject: Re: ?? 0.9 bar or 1.8 bar Oil Press Switch ??
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

When I went to buy a new oil pressure switch, the parts guy only had 1.8 bar switches available from his regular vendor. All my references call for a 0.9 bar setpoint and that is what was used in my '90 Syncro. I noticed some sources offer both the 0.9 bar and the 1.8 versions. Was there a production change or is it a matter of personal preference? After all, by the time an engine is showing only 0.9 bar oil pressure off idle, it is pretty much dead.
