Where did your "jacket" come from? Mine came from them Cannucks(sp) just Northwest of here. I bought a parka there years ago. The thing lasted 25 years. Gotta hand it to them, they really know how to build them. I like my "jacket" from them. It's just right. Right arm crosses over left. More comfortable that way. Has a series of snaps that allow some comfort adjustment without ever having to release the lock in back. Makes me feel more secure that way. If it ever came loose I'd prol'ly holler for the calf rope. -[;<)>
