1)Register an 'available anywhere address' and subscribe it to the list as a precaution for use on the road. I use Hotmail but there are others for those with (understandable) moral scruples about Microsoft.

2) Failing this send e-mail through Tom or another list member whose address you know.

3) Subscribe the e-mail address you're using to the list temporarily, it doesn't take that long.

If you're on the road you often don't have access to your regular e-mail address anyway.
