I think itwas Bill D. that suggested going to a hose shop and having a stainless steel #4 Aeroqup teflon hose made forthe remote mounting of the VDO electric OP sender and I was wondering where the new mounting location ended up(by driver's side head or to the rear?), how it was attached and to what, and how long the hose needed to be. I'm assuming that you went male 1/8" on one end and female on the other

*** Yes, twas I ...

I believe you can find all the details of length, exact installation location, etc. at the www.vanagon.com web site ... somewhere in the oil pressure/gauge problem/solution section...

Good Luck,

Bill
