Decided the neighbours weren't being abused enough having to look at the Westy all the time, so I bought another on the weekend. 87 7 pass Syncro for $1200 CDN. It's not pretty, and has some issues with the VC and f. diff, but hey, that's what projects are for. Got some rust (nothing gruesome, but adds to the not pretty part).

So I guess I join the ranks of the Syncronized. Got start learning about all that 4WD junk I guess, and start stressing about $1200 custom shocks, and 16" trailing arms, and whatnot. Should be fun. I can't think of a better ski/mtb mobile for me and friends.

Oh yeah, we dubbed the new Syncro "Hugh" as in short for "Huge P.O.S."

What will my therapist think? ;-)
