Chas, My 84 is a wolfsburg and is a fully equipped camper. Stove, fridge, sink, poptop, swivel front seatS. It has power steering, A/C, a tach, a digital clock, and rear heater all of which I believe distinguish it from a standard or weekender. (ok 'cept the poptop.). Oh, and the very best feature...comes with a slide out 2 person bench seat behind the front seats. You can face it front or back or leave it in the garage. Nice setup really. All the good stuff without power windows/locks/mirrors, younameits to replace$ Hope this helps-maybe not 100% accurate, but close. Jay 84 wolfsburg 6 passenger SUV 77 westy deluxe other stuff ---

>The Wolfsburg Westy is basically what was later called a Weekender. You get the pop-top with beds and the rear closet. Mine has a rear facing passenger seat behind the driver (not a fold up jump seat) and a folding table on the left hand bulkhead ahead of the rear seat. There is no stove or permanently installed refridgerator and accompanying propane tank. The Wolfies have a dual voltage refridgerator/cooler that bolts down behind the passenger seat (LHD version). They may or may not have an auxiliary battery under the left hand seat (mine did). I believe the A/C on these was a separate option and a dealer installed item through '85. > >Chuck >'85 Wolfsburg Westy -- 'Roland' > >In a message dated Tue, 13 Feb 2001 10:31:37 AM Eastern Standard Time, phil stanhope <napszeerf@YAHOO.COM> writes: > ><< How much different is a 84'wolfsburg westy from a >regular 84' westy? > >Did they all come with A/C? > >Phil 84' all white westy >"millenium flacon" > > >__________________________________________________ >Do You Yahoo!? >Get personalized email addresses from Yahoo!
