Hi all,

After MUCH looking at, reading, then actually tracing of wires, I believe I understand the Bentley wiring diagrams! Hooray! I should have all the wiring done in a day or two. While I am at it, every bit of corrosion I can find is being removed and all connections treated with D-5 (also known as TWEAK in the east, where there is snow <G>) so as not to become corroded again soon.

I found a wrecker near here that has 3 vanagons (2 Westies, 1 passenger) so I have a source of odd parts (for instance, the bits and pieces that help attache the steering column/wheel to the steering yoke, or swivel seat platforms that I might buy if I can get a battery-powered angle grinder out there or whatever, and many other things).

I still have to re-attache the radiator, now that I have fixed the fan shroud. I have the rad assembly, 2 metal pieces that are kind of "L" shaped, with a round depression at one end, and a channel along the axis, and a number of bolts. These were returned to me as is when the body tech removed the rad. I will admit to being deficient in knowledge ove this, but I have no idea how the rad bolts on to the body!

Yup, I am not ashamed to admit, I don't know...but then, I always read the instrucitons manuals, ask for directions and tell my wife that she is always right.

I'd be grateful if anyone could assist.

Thanks,
