I've just turned 15K on a new AVP in my '89 Westy-- no problems to date. It's my understanding that Jerry (Reno, NV) regularly refurbishes his vehicles with AVP-- and he certainly spoke highly of them at the time we were looking to purchase our van from him.

One would hope your previous owner paid attention to frequent oil changes throughout the break-in process, but I wouldn't question the motor in and of itself.

I am currantly suffering the WBX BLUES. I have an oppertunity to purchass aN AVP MOTOR with 18,000 miles. Does any one have any positive or negative experiences with AVP??
