There are rules to the list. And some very competent and capable moderators that, when necessary, reel in the list if it gets too out of control. Fortunately, they also possess an enlightened sense of humour and allow the list to moderate itself in many, many instances. There's more to Vanagons specifically and VW's and life in general than just the technical, repair, and up keep - some of us like to drive them around and see what kindred spirits are up to. This list is a snap-shot of all aspects of life. And I, for one, would like to keep it that way.

Oh. And one last thing. If a strict adherence to the rules of this list were ever enforced, your post - mine too - wouldn't be allowed, and indeed would warrant some kind of disciplinary action. Banishment perhaps? A loss of posting privileges for a period of time? Would you want that? Neither would I.
