Hi all! Deja vu. I replaced a bulb today and found that unused socket. I suspect its for the red fog lamp that's a legal requirement in all European countries. Its a shame we don't have them here - the tail lights are pretty dim at the best of times so I imagine they're completely invisible in poor weather. Cheers, Graham.
