Stuart, I weighed a Westy 2WD and it was similar to the Syncro camper I weighed at the same time. With a full fuel tank and 2 adults seated up front, the load on the left front wheel was the heaviest of the 4 wheels. There are variations due to year, options, and items in the cabinets but all watercooled models of Vanagon are pretty even front to rear I think. I don't know about the aircooled.
