Hi All,

Anyone that may be interested, in Lancaster, California (about 70 miles
NE of LA and about 20 miles S of Edwards Air Force Base--where the Space
Shuttle used to land), there is a mostly complete 84 Vanagon.  Has motor
(no ECU, air control box), 4 speed transmission, great front bumper, all
doors (no handles), and the stock VW big flat wheelcovers--all 4, but
they would need to be painted.  My friend got the seats a few days ago
after the rain and before the snow we had this week (today was in the
70's). They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

These places usually charge between $100-150 for the engine and the same
for the trans.
