Call Nick (owner) at M&M Automotive in Aloha. It's a 3 bay shop off of Hwy 8. I have used them for VW repairs since '84. They are a bit of a family business, ex VW technicians and do lots of vanagon work They installed the rebuild on my 87 Westy Synchro last year. Also rebuilt my '76 bug motor. When a couple of in-warranty parts problems have popped up Nick jumped through hoops to make things right, getting parts in overnight at his own expense.

Even with a trusted mechanic though, it still pays to study the list and use the free experts for a second opinion. M&M is at (503) 642-1622.
