Subject: Installed my Air Lift kit
Content-type: multipart/alternative;

Hi- After taking delivery a week or more ago, yesterday was finally almost warm enough to install the kit. It was a huge project ;-), I actually had to take the wheels off! Truthfully, it couldn't have been much easier. Flattened 'em out and stuffed 'em in. Took the advice of a previous message to not plumb the two sides together so as to maintain their independence and ability to limit roll. In our case, about 15 psi just barely began to lift the van. Left it there and went for a test drive with my kids (turned into 21/2 hours). Very satisfied. Very slightly firmer feel on bumps, but overall stability greatly improved. Cornering is flat, the front end turns in much better as you can feel the rear carrying more of the cornering load. Cool. For now the schrader (sp?) valves are strapped to the control arms. In the spring I am going to drill and bolt them through the bulkhead under the rear seat. Figure I can just keep a small bicycle pump under there and adjust as needed (my son could even adjust on-the-fly). Money well spent; many, many thanks to Peter Buettner for making the list purchase happen!

Gary
