The two heater wires should have continuity even with the heater resistance. Do you have a ohm meter handy?

When the 02 sensor is in service and warmed up, the 02 wire should be the one producing voltage, .3 to .9 volt, depending on how well your AFM is tweaked and/or other factors.

Mark Ingalls 85 GL (with the one wire 02 sensor, I checked it the other day in below freezing weather and it still started producing voltage in less than one minute even without the later style heater)
