John... I was looking into the trailer thing awhile ago myself and there is a heavy duty trailer hitch that bolts to the frame or some such... different from the eyelet kind... someone on the list will probably speak up about it sooner or later. i would give you the information, but my computer crashed recently and I lost all my saved vanagon stuff. If no one speaks up, check the archives.
