Last year I followed Ken Wilford's advice and converted to Freeze 12.  It
works.  I had a shop vacuum out my system and install the Freeze 12.  No
other changes were made.  Johnson claims that you can mix Freeze 12 with
Freon.  The summer temperature in El Paso can exceed 110 more often than
anyone would like but my AC works.  Even though it takes a while to cool the
large interior volume, I usually get too cold if I leave turned all the way
up.
