That pipe on the driver's side is notorious for rusting out. I would replace it as the rust is acutally worse than it looks. These pipes are around $95 at the dealer.

I have a kit to replace the fuel lines that comes with instructions, German fuel line, and clamps for $53. I would do this soon as well since the lines are notorious for leaking and causing engine fires.

As far as coolant hoses go, if they are the original ones, I would replace them too while you are at it. I have complete kits of coolant hoses on my website, that you can take a look at. If a coolant hose blows on a trip at the very least you will be stuck sitting at Bubba Gumps gas station while the local dealer orders the new hose for you (at least a day wait), or at the worst the motor is fried and you are waiting for a rebuilt engine for Bubba Gump to put in for you (his first waterboxer) for $80 per hour while you are staying at the local motel. No fun. Spring is getting closer, the days are warming up, it is time for some Preventative Maintenance.

Thanks, Ken Wilford John 3:16 www.vanagain.com Phone: (856)-765-1583 Fax: (856)-327-2242
