in the area of
fuel distribution, I have never replaced the rubber fuel lines that connect

to the fuel rails and injectors.  They are quite hard.  It looks to me as
though they are crimped into the injector, and screwed onto the rail...does

this mean that the whole injector has to be replaced?  Is there a
particular
type of hose that is best to use?

to replace fuel lines you just get the appropriate fuel line make sure its
high pressure line and cut off the crimped things that hold the old gas
lines on, you may have to use a hacksaw or dremmel tool or something small
and sharp.  then just cut the right size pieces and put it back together
with good clamps.  vanagain sells all this stuff (hoses, clamps).  i did it
on mine it looks daunting but once you get those silly crimped things off
its easy.  i knew i needed to replace my fuel lines b/c when i turned the
key and the fuel pump came on i saw gasoline spraying out of tiny holes all
over the lines spraying gas all over the engine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
