Reminds me of a VW mechanic in El Cerrito that put an Olds Toronado engine and transmission in a vanagon. He said it went like a bat out of hell, but things kept breaking - the funniest story was when he outraced a Corvette and, as he and his pals watched the Corvette disappear in the mirrors at well over the legal limit, one of said mirrors fell off, which REALLY made the Corvette mad!

Moral: I guess you can get ANYTHING to fit!
