error (on my part and Bus depot's part), about $1600, BUT I had to buy a LOT of tools to do the job and I'm going to sell them CHEAP when I'm done. I figue it would cost about 1500-2000 in labor alone for the same job(s) if I went somewhere.. Brian You might want to think again about selling those tools cheap. To me, tools are like money in the bank. You may not need them for quite a while, but you will need them again. I feel so sorry for people without tools and an adventurous spirit who have to pay some other guy (who usually doesn't give a damn) to fix your vanagon. Every time I do some little job for 80$ that Fritz would have charged me 400$ for, I give thanks to the great Norse god that guards my "humble hodgepodge box of indeterminate origin"- tools. I'll sell ANYTHING else first.
