My '84 (1.9L engine) had been running just fine until this morning. I hadn't used van since Friday. First mile was okay, then when I went to accelerate from traffic light, engine was rough under light throttle. After I left work this afternoon, I filled tank with Chevron 93 octane instead of usual Exxon stuff. Possibly some improvement. Has anyone had similar experience? I only have a limited amount of time on weekday evenings to do troubleshooting. Rotor, cap, wires, 13 months old; plugs, injectors, Temp II, 2 years old. John Lauterbach Macon, GA |
