Brian, I put a set of Michelin XC LT4'S 195/75 14 M&S tires on my '90 Westy four years ago. I got them at Sears, they were blems (blemished), but still carried a 50k warranty. They have 30k miles now and look good for many 1000's more. They have an open and somewhat agressive tread, as well as being stiffer, so they are somewhat noisier on the highway than the original MXL'S. I have had no problems with them and they are wearing quite evenly.
